This small book is an extension of some letters written to Adam Smith in the late 1780's by Jeremy Bentham attacking Smith's analysis on pp. 260-340 of The Wealth of Nations about the dangers of speculation (Bentham,like Milton Friedman,libertarians,and Austrian economists,confused entrepreneurship and enterprise with speculation).
