Some labs are fine and very detail of what you have to to, but others are just a mess and have not explicit instructions of what you have to to and even has errors on the given code. It's highly evident that because so many authors written this lab manual, the book in overall lack of Constance and varies in quality.

I'm really sorry about the price. We reduced the page count from over 400 pages to under 200 at the request of the publisher, and then they raised the price over the previous edition!

As a lab book, I can see why this would not be something you use on your own. I certainly understand the complaints leveled at it in the other comments, but it's honestly not that bad.
